\nThe foreigners affiliated with the notorious private military contractor Blackwater, whose security company Blackwater was later renamed as Xe Services LLC, arrived in Islamabad on Tuesday through a PIA flight, sources told TheNation. \nThe federal cabinet on Wednesday approved the gas load-management plan under which gas supply to the industrial sector and CNG plants will be suspended for two days a week from November 15 till March 15 in order to save enough gas for domestic use. Under the gas load-management schedule, industries and CNG stations will remain closed for two days every week. \nA private company owned by President Asif Ali Zardari and his son Bilawal Zardari purchased 2,460 Kanals (307 acres) of prime land in Islamabad in March 2009, valued at a CDA price of over Rs 2 billion, for a mere Rs 62 million, proving after a long wait that a 1997 NAB reference against Zardari for the same deal was justified, but had to be dropped then for lack of some missing links.

\nCHAMAN: The personnel of the Frontier Corps, Balochistan, would escort trains loaded with Nato supplies from Sibi to Chaman to ensure safe delivery of goods to Chaman, a Railway official said on Saturday. The official further said that supply of some of the goods, which included armored vehicles, jeeps and unknown items sealed in various sized containers from Sibi to Chaman via train was being made for the last couple of days. As soon as the Nato supplies arrive at Sibi, the supply firms would seek the services of the FC to escort the train onwards to Chaman. Trucks, oil tankers and containers hired by Nato forces for their military and non-military supplies often come under attack in various parts of the province.
\nSuspected militants often attack these vehicles killing their drivers or cleaners. Several vehicles have been bombed causing losses worth millions of rupees.

\nTEHRAN: An Iranian member of parliament on Monday raised the prospect of a possible cross-border military operation into Pakistan against the terrorist group blamed for a deadly attack on the elite Revolutionary Guards. Iran has in the past alleged that members of the Jundallah group, which state media said claimed Sunday\u2019s suicide bombing in Iran, have been operating from Pakistan. \u201cThere is unanimity about the Revolutionary Guards and the security forces engaging in operations in any place they would deem necessary,\u201d ISNA news agency quoted MP Payman Forouzesh as saying, appearing to refer to agreement on the issue among lawmakers. reuters
