Under the gas load-management schedule, industries and CNG stations will remain closed for two days every week. The cabinet also approved the sugar policy for 2009-10 which envisages import of one million tonnes of sugar \u2014 half a million tonnes of raw sugar and 500,000 tonnes of refined sugar -for the current season. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thenews.com.pk\/top_story_detail.asp?Id=25378\">http:\/\/www.thenews.com.pk\/top_story_detail.asp?Id=25378<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Zardari involved in 300 acre land scam<\/strong><br \/>\nA private company owned by President Asif Ali Zardari and his son Bilawal Zardari purchased 2,460 Kanals (307 acres) of prime land in Islamabad in March 2009, valued at a CDA price of over Rs 2 billion, for a mere Rs 62 million, proving after a long wait that a 1997 NAB reference against Zardari for the same deal was justified, but had to be dropped then for lack of some missing links.<br \/>\nThe deal which Zardari was accused of in 1997, was thus completed this March, 15 years later, after a complex process of legal cases, suits and counter-suits, between a person once declared by the then government as a front man of Asif Ali Zardari, another person believed to be closely associated with the president and a private company that is jointly owned by the president, his son and a few others. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thenews.com.pk\/top_story_detail.asp?Id=25353\">http:\/\/www.thenews.com.pk\/top_story_detail.asp?Id=25353<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>FC to escort Nato supply train<\/strong><br \/>\nCHAMAN: The personnel of the Frontier Corps, Balochistan, would escort trains loaded with Nato supplies from Sibi to Chaman to ensure safe delivery of goods to Chaman, a Railway official said on Saturday. The official further said that supply of some of the goods, which included armored vehicles, jeeps and unknown items sealed in various sized containers from Sibi to Chaman via train was being made for the last couple of days. As soon as the Nato supplies arrive at Sibi, the supply firms would seek the services of the FC to escort the train onwards to Chaman. Trucks, oil tankers and containers hired by Nato forces for their military and non-military supplies often come under attack in various parts of the province.<br \/>\nSuspected militants often attack these vehicles killing their drivers or cleaners.
