From what I can gather, Muslim Aid is operating on the ground and getting aid out to people and places in need.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.muslimaid.org\/subpages.php?section=donations&#038;sub=howdonate&#038;down=yes\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Muslim Aid<\/strong><\/a><br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/muslimaid.org.au\/Program.aspx?Id=14\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Muslim Aid Australia<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/a>This is the web link, one can specify where one wants the money to go.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ifrc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Red Cross and Red Crescent<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0IFRC have also launched an appeal and have operations in place.<\/p>\n<p>There is also a tracing service available through <strong>Red Cross Australia<\/strong>. They have a 72 hours assessment period following any disaster, but after this time enquiries can be directed through them for missing relatives. The co ordinator of the operation is Hamish <strong>Lindsay (contact number 9229 4233).<\/strong> They have suggested waiting until around Thursday though before enquiries are made.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.msf.org\/msfinternational\/invoke.cfm?objectid=CFFFA448-E018-0C72-09A3B313A20EFCB4&#038;component=toolkit.article&#038;method=full_html\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Medicins Sans Frontieres<\/strong><\/a> MSF also have staff on the ground and you can donate on their website.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.oxfam.org.au\/donate\/paymentoneoff.php?WebAppealID=26\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Oxfam<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0Oxfam is on the ground and collecting donations<\/p>\n<p><strong>Other Options<\/strong><br \/>\nIn Hong Kong PIA has offered to send equipment free of charge to the disaster zone. There is a need for ventilators and the community in Hong Kong are buying them in bulk and sending them with PIA. Blankets, clothes and food can all be bought in Pakistan from donations which have been made but there is a shortage of ventilators.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Please consider a donation!
